TOWN OF HARRISON

2021 Schedule of Regular Meetings of the Planning Board

Please take notice that in accordance with the NJ Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to same (the “Act”), public notice is hereby given of the schedule of regular meetings for the 2021 Planning Board of the Town of Harrison, Hudson County, at which any and all public business will be formally discussed, decided and acted upon.

Due to the State of Emergency regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), ALL public meetings of the Planning Board (“Meetings”) will be held via the “Zoom” platform.  To join/view the Meetings and to participate in the public portion (if so desired):

During the public comment portion of Meetings, members of the public wishing to comment may enter "*9" on their phone if calling into the Meetings, or by pressing the "raise hand" icon on the Zoom platform, which indicates to the Board their desire to offer comments.  All microphones of public speakers will be muted except during the public comment portion of the Meetings. When you hear your name announced during the public comment portion of the Meetings, you may address the Board.  After a speaker’s time expires, that individual’s microphone will be muted to allow other speakers the opportunity to address the Board.  Each user will have the capability to participate via audio only.

Members of the public may also submit written comments in advance of the Meetings, which will be read and addressed during the public comment portion of the Meetings. Such comments may be submitted via e-mail to mgaines@townofharrison.com or addressed to Mary C. Gaines, Board Secretary, Harrison Town Hall, 318 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029.  All such comments must be received at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled starting time of the Meetings.

Whether made during the Meetings or submitted in writing prior, all public comment requires the person’s name and complete address. Agendas and materials/exhibits for the Meetings will be available prior to the Meetings in the "Agenda Center" section on the Town's website at https://www.townofharrisonnj.com/AgendaCenter and may also be available via shared screen or a link during the Meetings, or may be requested from the Board Secretary.

The following are designated as the Meetings of the Planning Board of the Town Harrison for 2021, at which any and all public business will be formally discussed, decided and acted upon, with an Open Caucus at 5:45 P.M. before each meeting:
